ABOUT US
The Primary School Education Program within Muş Alparslan University, Faculty of Education, Department of Primary Education, has started to accept students as of 2009/2010 academic year. The program had its first graduates in the 2012-2013 academic year. As of the 2020-2021 academic year, it has 208 registered students and 567 students have graduated from the program.
The Primary School Education Program contains content knowledge, teaching professional knowledge, general knowledge lessons and practice lessons as compulsory. Besides, the preservice teachers take elective lessons too. The lessons are conducted theoretically and practically.
Our aim at Mus Alparslan University, Department of Primary Education is to train teachers who are aware of this valuable process, have higher-order thinking skills, both academic and educational well-equipped and can teach all over Turkey.
The department has nine academic members, seven of whom are assistant professor and two research assistants.
